Andharban Trek — by BanBanjara Travels

Andharbantrek.org is not a government website. It is operated by BanBanjara Travels under the BanBanjara brand — a small team that organises guided one-day monsoon treks to the Andharban forest for travellers from Pune and Mumbai.

Our aim

Our aim is to give every first-time trekker and returning regular an immersive, well-run day inside the dark forest of the Sahyadris. Every batch we run is designed around the same idea — take the logistics off your plate so the forest is all you have to think about.

That means picking you up from the right corner in Pune or Mumbai, driving you to Pimpri village on time, sorting the forest entry and paperwork, feeding you a hot vegetarian breakfast and lunch, walking with you the whole 13 km down to Hirdi, and getting you home by night.

What we do

• Guided batches every weekend from June through September, plus select post-monsoon weekends into October and November.
• Team Captains + local guides on every batch — the Captains handle group safety and pace, the local guide knows every waterfall, viewpoint, and shortcut on the trail.
• All-inclusive pricing — private non-AC vehicle, forest entry, breakfast, lunch, evening tea, guide fees. What you see on the packages page is what you pay.
• Honest information — this site also runs as a small research hub, with guides on how to reach the trek, what to carry, comparisons with Rajmachi and Kalsubai, and monsoon safety notes.
